Abstract

Goal – The objective of this paper is to identify the critical success elements in the implementation of TPM and building a romantic relationship among them.

Approach – All the permitting variables in charge of successfully applying TPM had been identified through literature assessment. ISM and MIC MAC PC analysis were applied to find out the levels of their influence in the implementation of TPM.

Even though the definition of TPM provides underwent many modifications, the Father of TPM, Nakajima, described it as " successful maintenance including total participation in addition to maximizing tools effectiveness and establishing an intensive system of thorough planned maintenance (Nakajima, 1988). TPM is always to strive for the three important desired goals of Absolutely no defects, Zero accidents & Zero breakdowns.
